Simpatico Physical Therapy

Simpatico Physical Therapy, Health and Wellness provides restorative treatments for a wide range of diagnoses. Whether you have pain, weakness, endurance deficits, balance problems or other dysfunction, we have the experience and interventions to help you recover. Our physical therapy doctors have 35+ years of experience treating neurological, musculoskeletal and cardiopulmonary health issues with care and compassion.

We are Doctors of Physical Therapy, Certified Manual Orthopedic Therapists and the primary providers of care for pain and weakness. We have extensive experience in endurance and pulmonary dysfunction, and in health issues ranging from autoimmune diseases to post-COVID 19 deficits. If you’ve had a stroke or have been diagnosed with a neurological condition such as Parkinson’s disease, we can help. And we provide excellent pre-surgery and post-surgery rehabilitative care.

Simpatico collaborates with a variety of physician specialties and general practitioners to coordinate the best care for you. However, in Virginia, a doctor’s referral is not required to access physical therapy.

While restorative physical therapy services may be covered by insurance plans, we believe that decisions regarding the most cost-effective, efficient and appropriate treatments shouldn’t be left up to the insurance companies. Therefore, we offer a variety of non-insurance cash pay and out-of-network options, as appropriate. (Medicare and Medicare-eligible Patients see below.) This allows us to offer personalized treatment plans and gives you the individual time and care you deserve. We believe in transparency and affordability. When requested, we will provide all the necessary information to seek reimbursement from your insurance carrier.

Simpatico Physical Therapy, Health and Wellness offers a variety of packages, services, payment options and concierge plans.

Medicare and Medicare Eligible Patients:  Due to Medicare rules and regulations, we are required to bill Medicare for all necessary and reimbursable restorative services. We continue to advocate through our professional associations for changes in these regulations. Some non-reimbursable services may be available on a self-pay basis. Please contact us for more information.
